Odyssey sets no cookie: neither its own, nor an advertising cookie, nor an analytics cookie. It embeds no third-party software development kit and no measurement pixel.
Because no non-essential technology is used, there is no consent to ask for and no banner to display.
The app writes a single entry, named epoque-state, into the storage area of its own container. It holds what the Privacy Policy describes: the subjects you follow, your progress, your saved items, your notes and your preferences.
It is strictly necessary for the app to work as an app — without it, Odyssey would forget everything between two launches. It is never read by us and never leaves the device.
Deleting the app removes it, along with everything else the app has stored. On the web version, clearing the site data from your browser has the same effect.
